Here in the US, May 1st is just another day but I've always loved the idea of celebrating May Day (yes, I know it was originally a pagan celebration)! I think it is a day to dress in long, flowing dresses decked out in flowers and ribbons and bare feet while dancing outside! I would wear my hair natural (curly/wavy) with braids and a floral wrath or headband. It's the history lover in me that wants to experience this.
